Angient Egypt in a laser cut jacket
I am a third year student at the Willem de Kooning Academy, fashion
For the Major, I went looking for a character
I choose Cleopatra as my character. I wanted to use the Egyptian Hieroglyphics in this design.
I did a lot of tests with paper and fabric, and then decided to laser cut the Hieroglyphics.
Leather seemed the best material because it is strong yet flexible.

Below is the result of the photoshoot that I've held and the outfit was also shown at The Graduation Show WDKA.
My experience with FabLab was very good. I had no experience with laser but it went very well.
