Pimp your plate!
Inspired by a morocco pattern.
I found this pattern and it inspired me to something with it. I also wanted to know if you could engrave in.

Step 1
The picture had already a high contrast bust still I had to make some adjustment in photoshop.
I transform the picture to black and white and set the brightness and contrast right.
To get the best engraving result you need a images with a high contrast and my images was only black and white so that was good.

I just buy a flat plate in the local store.

speed: 34 %
power: 80 %
ppi: 1221
Step 3
Because the plate is white you don't see the image on the plate. But if you paint the engreved images you can see it.
I used decofin porcelain paint
paint the hole plate
take a wet cloth and take the too much paint off the plate, so that only see the engraved images in colour.
