Presidential Embroidery
These were some of the firsts test embroidery examples I did using the Janome CNC Embroidery machine.
Bush was made using Brother PE Designer during the Jewelry Sense Kitchen on 10/10/2008. I used white thread on a black T-shirt so the embroidered image is actually a negative of the original image. When inverted as in the attached image, the image looks like it was intended to.
Obama was made using the Embird software on 28/11/2008 while testing the usage of this software on one of the lab's computers. It was embroidered using black thread on a white felt background so it looks like it was intended to.

When embroidering images intended to be used as stencils, you should keep in mind that there will always be little threads connecting all of the colored parts of the piece. These may require a lot of post-work to get rid of.
