Software used: Adobe Illustrator. Draw the outline of the wanted shapes and give them 0,003 pt stroke. There are 2 difference lines: cutting and engraving. These two have to be in the different layers and colors. Cutting line is black and engraving line is red. Both has also different speed and power. For further info about them, you can see it on the information list on the computer desk, next to the laser cut machine.
While using the machine: you have to be next to it while it`s working and the cover of the machone has to be closed. If there is a fire appeared, you have to put the fan on immediately. After the process done, do not forget to put it off to save energy.
I have experienced cutting wood, acrylic, fabrics (most of the are polyester). Wood: it depends on the thickness of the woods. Most of them that are easy to cut is about 3 mm of multiplex. The thicker it is, more difficult it`s cut. When I tried double cut on wood, most of them will be burnt. Acrylic: it`s easy. Acrylic has various thickness. The normal one is 3 mm and also 5 mm. Fabrics: polyester is the easiest to cut. Avoid wool, as the smell of the cut will stay 'forever' especially on the fabric.
It is not allowed to cut wools and metal/aluminium with the machine.
