Arduino Body
To make sure users are able to connect sensor modules easily, I have designed a Body around a standard Arduino (UNO) model, that provides the user with easy connector pins.

Sensor Block
The Sensor Blocks are designed in a way that they fit the body easily, and that they also describe what it is actually sensing.
On the other side of the body, you can see the connectors for the output modules. These are different from connectors on the input side, so users can not make mistakes while connecting these.
Output modules
The output modules will consist of an actuator, for example an LED, LCD display or a Servo Motor, and an Atiny Microcontroller. Each actuator needs very specific signals to function, and this extra microcontroller will make sure that each actuator will get the signal it needs. Wiring these smaller microcontrollers to the bigger one (the body) adds extra wires, as you can see in the picture below:
Next Step
Next, I will start lasercutting my output modules, and integrate the Attiny chips in these modules. The output modules are more complex to put together, so I expect more problems while trying to put these boxes together.
