The following is an indication of more refined idea's for the snoezel object concpt.

From the previous prototyping and object construction, I have chosen deepen the concept for both the object blocks and the idea of the tent/shelter.

This scenario image shows the ways with which the objects can be used.   It is possible for each child to have his or her own object or one child could be surounded by all four objects.

As is further outlined, each object has a character or personality.

On the 4th of June, the Fab Lab held its first Sense Kitchen Pressure Cooker session. The theme for this evening was the Snoezel Object.

The idea of the evening was to gather a group of multi disciplined people, such as designers, programmers and allow them to exchange ideas through the process of building a prototype.

We started the evening with a nice meal on the Waag Pakhuis de Zwijger terrace with a couple of beers and then it was straight to the lab.

The following video is a brief registration of the night and what was accomplished in 4 hours.

Special interest Meetings zijn open bijeenkomsten rondom een bepaald onderwerp, waarbij in het fablab de nadruk ligt op het maak-proces en expertise uitwisseling. Elke Sensitive SIM wordt georganiseerd door iemand uit het waag sensitive team. Er staat lekker eten en drinken klaar. Er is een maximum van 15 deelnemers. De onderwerpen die aan bod komen zijn gerelateerd aan personal fabrication en physical computing.

Het thema voor de eerste sensitive SIM is: SNOEZEL OBJECT.
