We made a partial, full-scale mockup of the design to make sure our assumptions about scale were in fact correct, and to make final adjustments to the dimensions.
Proof of concept.

The object of this experiment is to see how images translate from image editing software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop into the Embird editing software.
Note: If you're just getting started with the machine and want to see how to embroider a jpg image, you probably want to take a look at the Embroidery Janome memory craft 200E Tutorial.
In this candy session we tried to make a mold for lolly pops.
We were aware of a system currently used, whereby the lollypops were made by placing a coil of candy into a small cooking tin, placing another tin on top, pressing down and then inserting the stick.
We were curious as to the way a sheet of solid candy would react under the laser cutter.
These are some images of our results..... unfortunately no settings were recorded.
