In order to be able to daily attempt to the integrity of the beautiful castle's windows, I decided to place the dart board inside the door of one of the storage rooms. The hight of the board respects the international standard (the bullseye is 5 feet 8 inches (172.72 cm) from the floor) and the door get stuck against a doorblock on the floor made on purpose. The little block holds the door in place through a washer inserted in the acrylic piece and a magnet glued directly on the door.
We made several stickers with the Vinyl Cutter. The stickers are about 95 x 55 mm, and contain very small letters. Most important lessons we learned:
- If possible, avoid very small letters (from 5 - 10 mm). If you want to create 1 sticker, it is possible to cut the small letters with the vinyl cutter and get them out with a knife and pincette. But for quik use, it's not very usefull.
For my friend Martin's birthday I used the laser cutter on an old vinyl 12" he hates.
First I created some text in Illustrator, and made outlines. A lot of cleaning up involved here due to the inner forms of the letters, which would fall out if I didn't attach them on the outer form. For another text I used a font more suitable: House Industry's Warehouse, a font typically used for spraying templates.
